LUDAH KENNELS-Whippets

Our involvement in whippets came from two sources. Lucy decided that she too wanted to show the dogs but with a lot of her time taken up with grooming the Kees we decided that a single smooth coated breed would be the best.

While at a show, Lucy fell in love with the great "Luke" Sportingfield's Kinsman obtained one of his son's Ch Hi Tor's Erik The Greatheart and the rest is history.

Since 1995 (our first whippet litter) our dogs have won numerous championships, groups, puppy groups and Best Puppy in Shows. We are proud to say that our dogs can be found in the pedigree's of champions worldwide including but not limited too Denmark, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, USA etc.

Dave and I, are proud to have bred Ch Ludah's Fats Domino "Fats" our "Rory" son. Sire of multiple Canadian Champions, Puppy Group Winners, Best Puppy in Show winners, Multi Group Winning/Placing champions and in 2008 sire of the Canadian National Specialty Best of Breed Winner Ch. Dragonsong's Madison Ave. All of Fat's remarkable success comes from just 5 litters over his lifetime. Visit his page here for photo's and more of our superstar. We are a small hobby breeder, we have litters only occasionally (2-3 years apart) and are selective in the placement of our puppies and young adults. Should you find yourself interested in a Ludah Whippet please contact us and be prepared to answer some basic questions about yourself so that we may match you with the most appropriate dog should we have one available.
